Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer born in NYC the city of New York, on November 22nd in 1984. Her performances have earned the attention of a broad range of genres including historical drama, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson was the child of a film producer and architect. She was raised by New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. By the time she was seven years old, her passion for acting had grown. She began to audition for commercials. In a brief time span beginning her study in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the years following there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. As a child Johansson was in Sophistry alongside Ethan Hawke and made her film debut in Rob Reiner's North in 1994. Johansson made her debut as a character in Just Cause (1996), but it was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The movie is about two young girls that run away. The Horse Whisperer (1998), in which Johansson plays an teen girl who has facial disfigurement, received praise from reviewers. In the following years, she gained fame as cynical teenager Rebecca on the film Ghost World. She's also a talented stage performer. She performed with stunning grace in Wildflower as well as other stage productions. Renee Felice Smith started her profession in the entertainment industry from a very young age. Smith was drawn to acting as a young child. Smith was offered the first of many acting jobs at the tender age of six. She was in a Dannon yogurt commercial. Like many actresses who are new choose to pursue, she decided to build her talent in theatre. In addition to other productions in the USA she made her theatrical debut in Wildflower. She was a graduate of the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
